The 1610 Group is headed by Scott D. Lowe, an experienced information technology practitioner with close to twenty years of experience across a number of market verticals. Starting as a network technician in the early 90’s, Scott rose through the ranks at various organizations and eventually spent ten years of his career as a CIO, culminating with his position as the Vice President and Chief Information Officer for a private Missouri college. Scott is a recognized expert in the field and is adept at applying technology to solve complex business problems. For years, Scott has helped a myriad of organizations unravel technology puzzles and understands how important it is for the IT function to operate as a trusted partner, advisor and service to the organization.

About Our Name
On January 7, 1610, Galileo, using his telescope, discovered three of the moons of Jupiter.  These were not new moons; they had always been there… they were just hidden from view.  It was only through Galileo’s perseverance, knowledge and use of the right tool that these previously unknown celestial bodies forever changed the course of astronomy.  We believe that our mission is one in the same—helping our clients discover hidden value in their existing IT investments and create a direction for the future.  We have the tools; we have the knowledge. We just need you to provide us with your “universe” so that we can discover the moons that are hidden within.
